I've just checked through the entire directory of HU English communities and, unless I missed something, Thyroid UK is far and away the biggest by many thousands. This is a terrible indictment on UK thyroid treatment!

Wholeheartedly agree with you Humanbean, but alas by far the majority of the medical profession do not seem to see it this way

Dunno where you got the info from but its not the one with most members!! I do agree though, if you add up all the people that belong to forums its an awful lot of people disgruntled with their treatment!! Just think of all the others who trust their doctor and believe them when they say'Its not your thyroid' or 'Its your age' etc.

I must have missed something when I was checking the numbers. I blame my thyroid.

I remember the first time I was told a problem I had was caused by aging. I was 27!

This happens so I shouldn't worry about it!! There are many thousands of sufferers who's doctor's will not listen or are determined to don the blinkers and stick to the wrong guidelines!!
