Hi

The following info will help people to give informed, helpful support.... Thanks! :)

Total, or partial op?

Latest thyroid bloods including the ranges.

Which make of levo?

Do you take it with water only, at least an hour before food and 4 hours apart from calcium or iron?

Are you taking anything else which could be reacting?

Do you have a problem with lactose?

I think I have small amount on the left side and nothing on the right side, I take the tablets in the morning about 5ish with water, then leave it until 7ish before I have anything for breakfast. Don't think I have a problem with lactose, not sure tho

Hi It is early days to be stable. Are you having lots of tests, TSH, T4 and Free T3 ? Also, especially now your would benefit from at the least vit d ( hormonal) and iron/ferritin test, ask them to do the % with iron too, it has to be written here on the blood form.It could take a while to get the meds right, you really are still post Op.

Best wishes,

Jackie

Thank-you did you have Graves? I've got it & it's been very difficult to control, so I'm glad to be having thryoid out. Do you think you are on the right levothyroxin have they monitored you properly?

Thanks again xxx
