Can I take iodine while on T3 & T4?

Would it be helpful or detrimental? As usual, I've managed to find conflicting reports online!

My personal thoughts are that it would be unwise to supplement unless you know you are deficient. I have wondered myself about my iodine levels but there are so many things that need testing haven't got round to it yet.

Sorry that was not a very useful answer but hopefully someone else with more experience in this area will be along to help.
