i definitely believe i do have a thyroid problem now.neck is more swollen and painfully sore to touch (lump)under jaw.when I cough can see movement in my neck where my thyroid is.so hope when i see dr tomorrow will get him to confirm it .he will dismiss it I know.cos bloods normal(or so thye say)whenia sked hwat about symtpoms -dont mean anything

Your thyroid is at the front and base of your neck so a swelling under your jaw is probably nothing to do with it. You have glands under your jaw which can swell and be painful.

thanks guys ,dr did say it could be something going about,i still dont get why he didn't look at my neck when i asked him,it is definitely more swollen than last week when I saw him.he offered no advice about reducing my "bloated" stomach -(his words)other than more meds.declined.if he had done and seen where it " swells" when I cough.cough not chesty just throat-is this poss?
