Hi there everyone iv been underactive thyroid now for about 7yrs .and call it ignorance if you like but iv been getting bloods done 6 mthly

im on 125micrograms levo .but my symptoms are getting a lot worse my doctors are not really interested when i say im not coping very well advice pls ?

if you have been getting blood tests every 6 months, do you have any of the results - if so, can you post them so we can see what might be happening.....

if you have no results, then write to the surgery and ask for a copy.... you do not have to give a reason.....

Thanx for that galathea i will do that im going next tues but whenever i ask anything about my results or anything to do with my past notes i get looked like iv got two heads lol! .

But i will ask and post.( you have to be dead to get an app at my doctors) iv waited nearly two weeks for an app .

They can't stop you having copies of your blood test. I'm making a point of getting a copy now and making notes as to how I feel....this was after reading several post on this site which advised to do this....good look

Hi Kaymayes, I've been the same lately. Saw my specialist yesterday and he increased my T3 from 20mcg to 40mcg over the next 6 wks. I also take 150 levo. Last yr. I was on 40mcg but Dr. complaining they don't like prescribing T3 so I tried to see how I went by cutting down and felt really bad again. Hope you get the help you need x
