Isn't that interesting! In what way is it automatic? Is it one that relies on body movement to wind or one that gets radio updates from the local atomic clock?

I would be fascinated to hear how it runs when you are stable. Please do keep us updated :)

Hi Tatty, sounds like it is motion that winds it up - do you think you have gone from being wildly energetic to being totally chilled out? Well you priobably have having just had a TT. Be very interesting to see what happens when your other half wears it.

Maybe a meter could be made to work like this to tell us whether we are hypo or hyper. Feel sure it would be more accurate than the TSH! Janet.

When I was hyper my watches just never worked - that was from age 13 - and I never even think of wearing one, I got so used to just looking in shops and so on. I have several now...but I never remember to wear them. So I don't know what would happen!

Hi Linda, so glad the op went well. That is really strange with your watch, I don't wear a watch I just use my mobile phone to keep track of the time. I think I'll try wearing one to see what happens. Wishing you well :-)

this is odd and would never have thought about it, from the age of 13 any watch I had worn would always gain time. Stopped wearing them late teens , real odd!!
