Asked for help couple of weeks ago with my symptoms, turned out low iron so on iron tablets now. This weekend still suffering headaches
Iron supplementation does not turn round your iron levels quickly - think months rather than weeks.
It is often recommended that you take some form of ascorbic acid with the iron to help with absorption. It can also help to be sure you have adequate riboflavin.
I assume you are aware that you must separate taking iron and levothyroxine by at least four hours?
Might be an idea to get yourself one of the relatively inexpensive blood pressure machines now available. It would allow you to check your BP well away from the stress of appointments. But I agree get re-tested by your doctor.
It is also worth considering whether your vitamin B12 could be low. Iron deficiency tends to make your red blood cells smaller - which can work against B12 deficiency making them bigger. It can end up with the B12 deficiency being missed.

It has taken me months of iron supplements to get my levels from 12 to 37 (ferritin levels that is) but you can discount the first month of taking them as the GP didn't inform me that they must be taken with vitC (she suggested pure orange juice but I have been taking a good VitC powder) to enable your body to absorb the iron.
Iron supplements should also be taken with food or they can damaged the lining of the gut.
