Antibodies do vary over time.
Antibody levels are thought to indicate whether or not you have an autoimmune cause for your thyroid problem. However, they are only indicators. This is because numbers can go up if, for example, you have a physical injury to your thyroid (e.g. surgery or some types of car accident where the seatbelt presses on the thyroid).
The numbers indicate that, on balance, you do NOT have autoimmune thyroid disease but if the thyroglobulin antibodies go up any mare, then it would look as if you DO.
Many people find that their antibodies are so high there is no room for doubt. For you, there still is room for doubt.
