Any tips on energy with hypothyroid. I've always been hyperactive and I'm REALLY struggling with looking after my baby?

As the question says. I've had graves for 15 yrs but this is the first time I've been hypo and I have to say, it's the pits! I thought I felt tired with hyper but this is ridiculous. Thanks for any suggestions xo

awww, i feel ya!! i have an 8 month old and just been diagnosed underactive. So new to this and cant offer you much advice im afraid, but just wanted to let you know your not alone. Its so tough with little ones. The only thing im picking up is the importance of geting on the right dose of levo. Im currently on 50 but hoping to increase this week...hopefully our energy levels will improve as we get on the right dose.

Did pregnancy cause yours? I've had hyperactive thyroid before but first time hypo and I can't believe how exhausted I am my baby doesn't sleep so its soo hard at the mo.

I see endo thurs because at the mo I'm not on any meds for under active in fact I'm still taking overactive meds so getting worse xx thanks for the reply xx

i think pregancy did tip me over yes...lol...although its in the family so it was just a matter of time really

oh goodness i hope they get you on the right medication!!

try and nap when/if your baby does, really hope you get some much needed rest soon...can anyone come and give you a break so you can sleep?
