T3 and headaches

Hi all

I started on T3 around two weeks ago, but for the past week have had splitting headaches every day starting about an hour after taking my meds, I am hoping this is just part of the adaptation process and it will pass. Anyone experience similar?

I am on 100mcg of levo and 5mcg of T3, both taken together in the morning.

Yes I get this every time I increase my dose of Armour - it usually lasts for 2 weeks at most, and then gets better. I think it is VERY common but hopefully will be gone soon xx

That's what I wanted to hear! I'll stick it out and stock up on ibuprofen then!

I also had headaches when I started T3 but they went away after 10 days or so. It should pass.

Are you feeling any better on the T3?

Hi It is a common side effect when new to the body, very potent drug. I would go donw to half that tiny dose, for a week and then go back up, any script drug it often helps doing that, to prevent side effects. If you cannot split, try every other day. Drink plenty of water too.
