Hi,

Are you aware of the link between chronic viruses, ME/CFS and thyroid problems? We weren't until my daughter saw a specialist in the USA in Feb., learned she has latent HHV6 (probably since she was a baby - now 33) and we are now on a steep learning curve regarding this condition and also others that have never been picked up in tests in the UK.

HHV6, EBV and cytomegalovirus can all cause problems. Some of the information including symptoms are on the sites I mentioned. Jane x

Yeah I had a look at the site but couldn't see any symptoms listed....

It's more a case of looking at the conditions that can be caused by the viruses to see if there are any (including endocrine problems) that might match your own, then checking the research. Jane x

Thanks Jane, I am very interested to know what is going on between the two - I have Has auto immune thyroid that keeps giving my thryroidists and nodules,making me really poorly
