Does the tingling, vibrating, buzzing, and visual problems ever stop x
Hi I have never had these problems, even when untreated for many years. Are you sure something else is not going on? Sometimes docs always blame one thing when it is found and stop looking. Visual disturbances should not be ignored, eyes are precious. See a good opthalmic optician to star with and may be an eye consultant Also make syure your levels are correct, TSH, T4 and Free T3
Best wishes,
Jackie
Hi just had another thought, Have you had the other hormonal, autoimmune tests done, vit D ( if low corrected calcium before treatment) , Diabetes,iron/ferritin and B12 + foliates. b12 needs to be quite high in range and gives some odd symptoms.

No more tests done, doc said It's anxiety symptoms x
Hi Fion We seem to share the same symptoms. I laid in bed last night waiting for the buzzing and vibrating to stop. I also have visual problems am going to the local hospital next week to to the eye dept.
Symptoms have not improved on 1 grain Erfa.
Really confused as to whether these are thyroid related. x
I too suffer with all these. Have been seeing Dr S who says they will settle when I am on an adequate dose of replacement but may take a while. They were also much worse when my calcium and B12 levels were too low.
I am still not sorted on meds. Have been building up Armour dose over the last year and finally got to 3&1/2 grains & things were beginning to improve but resting pulse was too high so had to reduce back to 3. However felt much worse again and pulse still too fast so now on 2 and 1/2 grains and beginning to add in Levo as well, currently 50mcg. I have to make any changes very slowly as seem to be very sensitive and have learned just have to be patient as rushing just means a big step backwards. I was very ill on Levo initially but Dr S thinks may have been due to low calcium and B12 levels. I hope so as never want to be that sick again. I do notice the tingling etc gets worse after each change in dose then settles but has never gone completely yet and am hoping it will when my dose is sorted.
Some people feel this is coming from adrenal reactions. It does make sense since there is an interaction between thyroid and adrenal glands. Adrenaline or Cortisol?
I felt like my arms and legs were sort of throbbing for years before my thyroid problem was diagnosed and treated. If that's what you're talking about then it did go away with treatment in my case. I didn't have visual problems, though.
