Hi, I don't have the numbness only in fingers, but I have horrendous Tinnitus. Not had much luck at finding something to help it, been told you have to live with it. I am having a hearing aid fitted in a couple of weeks as it's made me very deaf in one ear.

Hi, can sympathise with you regarding tinnitus - mine is so bad I dread bedtime and quiet time - even when out walking I can still hear the thumping (mine is pulsatile tinnitus) - was just told I would have to live with it by mp gp - have had all blood tests done and they are 'normal' so I cant see much light at the end of the tunnel.

Look at your B12 level and consider whether you need to address that.

Difficult to answer as it depends on so many things. Some people are gine on 1000 whereas others need 5000 or injections.

You have to bear in mind that taking a B12 supplement will skew test results and therefore you might not be given B12 injections by doctor which are best, although if you are even in the bottom of the NHS range you can forget about NHS treatment. Sad, but true.

However, by sub-lingual supplementation I brought my B12 from below range (dr would not treat, too dumb) up to way over NHS range. Harmless, body excretes surplus. Link to DIY method has my several posts but it is all there:

I came across some thing the other day that talked about numbness in extremities & tinnitus. Two causes were noted; one was Candida in the gut & the other was Leaky Gut Syndrome. Both of these are common with thyroid problems so maybe check them out.

I think where the candida and leaky gut causes come from is that (now, I read this somewhere, I don't know it for a fact), is that they reckon that ALL autoimmune diseases are coupled with some form of gut problem which stops all the vitamins and minerals getting through.

Hi hon, you might be better opening a new question/thread for this as people won't see it unless they come on this thread. I know nothing about

Graves I am sorry. I do know that TGI indicates Graves (I think those are the letters) I think also that sometimes the ones for Hashimotos disease get lower or innactive so I don't' know if this happens in Graves. I am underactive / Hashimoto's disease, so I have no experience which is why I think you would get people who know about it if you post your own thread. Good luck.

Please get your folate and b12 levels tested, don't accept low normal results go for optimal. Folate and B12 work together. (and B6 but I don't take that separately it is related to homocysteine levels) I was falling into walls regularly, numbness in fingers strange sensations. I know that tinnitus is strongly related to low b12. I had low end normal b12 and low off range folate. I have much improved with supplements.

take care

Dawnx
