HELP! Scan results, endo's view what is anyone else's?

I was diagnosed with HypEr two months ago, been on 40mg Carbimazole, now blood levels normal opted to reduce to 10mg daily.Last scan in Jan 2012 showed only couple of nodules, depressingly latest scan shows 'heterogeneous echotexture of thyroid with poorly defined multiple nodules in both lobes. Mild increase in vascularity.- findings in keeping with diffuse thyroid disease. Endo thinks I have autoimmune thyrotoxicosis - is this Graves, what's the likely next step? Anyone else had this and can give me much appreciated advice please? Thanks...

Graves verses hashimotos?, I have multinodular goitre and antibodies, depends how you feel. You can have hashimotos with intermittant graves, where as your blood test will swing hypo and hyper and normal. I would post your results on here for interpretation. Yes it's graves or hashimotos, definitely autoimmune d. Hope this helps x

Thanks Marissa, blood test before treatment was T4 nearly 70 which I know was really high, TSH almost non-existent flatlining and T3 about 27. All more or less in normal range now... feel quite depressed to have something out of control... what treatment have you had and how do you feel>

ps not sure how to reply to these questions..... so seem to have doubled up but my TPO is 45 and ? Graves next to that... does that make any sense to you? x
