Hi I have been feeling under par for some time and the pains in my feet are awful. Blood test apparently show nothing of note. I have what I believe to be Lichen Sclerosis of the skin...which may well be caused by a wonky thyroid. Any information would be helpful.
Thank you

You need to get your blood test results from your doctor. They should be able to print them out for you. What doctor's seem to think is "normal" and what is "optimal" for you might not be the same thing!
I'm sorry to hear about your difficulties and hope we can help. First we need to know which tests have been done and when, and if you are already taking thyroid replacement.
Please look at this page from our main Thyroid UK website and let us know which of the thyroid tests mentioned there have been done and which vitamin/mineral tests:
If all of these have not been done already your doctor can carry them out for you and give you a copy of the results which you can post on here along with their reference ranges.
When we have this information we will be better able to make some suggestions for you.
I think you're right Rod. When my daughter was able to work and was a physio in outpatients at the local hospital she was for ever getting patients with PF who she thought CLEARLY looked hypo, but was unable to refer them for tests. It made her very frustrated.
