Hi Do not know much about Candida but from what I have read it needs some thing like 3 months of special antibiotic. It can also be due to sugar, although more often yeast. Glucose, lots of sugar in the diet, even in fruit etc. Personally , I would say it is the last thing you want to do.I do not know much about the subject but that is just what I have read and feel. So, some one else ma\y have better ideas.

Best wishes,

Jackie

Hi jackie

thank you for your reply, I am going to calm down with the supplements I think. I actually don't know what is working and what is not. One thing I now realise works well is Nutri-adrenal because I forgot it completely one day and payed the price. I am trying to cut out sugar and refined carbohydrates. Cant get myself together yet to do a paleo type diet, but will get there

Hi I red it, not convinced. Most Gastro`s and in fact a lot of my consultants do like certain supplements but they are fussy, They often recommend well tried and fairly well authenticated things The other thing is to see a qualified doctor who is also a used herbs, supplement etc and has made a study. In my opinion a lot on the WEB has to be treated carefully.I do feel if you think Glucose may be causing candida, you may benefit from a diabetes test, 2 Glucose and better one Hb A1c It is autoimmune and hormonal, to start with similar symptoms to thyroid disease. I have always understood candid to often be from excess sugar. Or even to stop yeast products. Also if digestive problems, had everything been ruled out completely ie Caeliac, tests not foolproof, pancreatic enzymes, specific stool test, replacement enzymes called Creon, oare safe,so if not on a script can be taken form Holland and Barrat. Some supplements are brilliant, eg fish oils and co- enzyme Q10, but they are well proven over many years. A lot of supplements are either a waste of money or even harmful.

Of course, as I said , I have no direct knowledge of what you suggest.Good consultants with normal drugs do not like to change much at a time, so that the patient can properly evaluate what is happening.

Sorry I cannot help more.
