green coffee bean extract & thyroxine ??
I have no idea.
But I quite like green coffee as a drink. Odd. Different from roasted coffee. Does it have to be a special extract or would the drink do the same thing?
Haven't had any in ages as it tends to be expensive and not readily available in local shops.

I've never tried it but I think you'd be wasting your money! You have put on weight because you have low thyroid hormones. Therefore the way to lose the weight is to reverse the process and raise your levels of thyroid hormone. How is coffee bean extract, or pineapple juice or cabbage soup or any of these other diet fades going to change your levels of thyroid hormone?
And there's something else to consider: as you are hypo, those added cms might not even be fat. It could be myxoedema, where a sticky mucin collects under the skin due to the low metabolism in hypos. Coffee bean extract won't work on that.
Here'r some links I found:

Once your levels are optimised, you will start to lose weight, I'm convinced of it. That is what is happening to me at the moment. The trick is to get your doctor to prescribe you enough thyroxine or whatever to optimise your levels. This is something they know nothing about! But it can be done.
Lots of luck, Grey
It's chlorogenic acid is the active ingredient. It's an anti-inflammatory and inhibits an enzyme that makes glucose in the liver. So it might work. But most green coffee bean supplements have been shown to include very little active ingredient, so are a waste of money. Better to get your thyroid sorted.
A few of us tried the raspberry ketones which were supposed to cause fat cells to implode or some such thing. None of us are obese but if it worked, none of us noticed. The green coffee seemed to be recommended for belly fat and as someone mentioned had more to do with glucose. I only tried one bottle and I think 200 mgs. was suggested but again, I would not say there was anything noticeable. I'm on Armour, not T4. Some people seemed to have success but I don't know if there body chemistry made the difference or what.
