The first thing to do is get a copy of your thyroid gland blood test results complete with the ranges and post here for someone to comment.

Even though the GP may say you are 'normal' range you may need a higher dose. If you haven't also had a Vit B12, Vit D, iron, ferritin and folate ask for these too.

In short no it's not but I am having the same problem! I am also on the same dose of Levo as you!

Following advice from one of the admin team I got the tests that shaws has suggested and found that I am severely deficient in Vitamin D, and the others are 'normal' but on the low side so well worth checking out.

Good luck, hope you feel better soon x

Hi This is also a classic symptom of diabetes, symptoms very like thyroid to begin with., autoimmune and hormonal.Make sure you have a Hb1Ac test, glucose not so important but useful.Thyroid make sure you have had TSH, T4 and free T3 tested, Results with ranges. often T3 needed too for the symptoms.Yes, other tests too very important, D is hormonal too. However, I have found the terrible overwhelming sleeping etc you describe is always my diabetes, in spite of having many issues that cause excess tiredness.

Best wishes,

Jackie
