sorry if this is TMI
I often wake up needing a BM but there is only a small amount of sticky stool sitting in rectum
This small amount of stool is very difficult to pass, is it better just to wait until there is a significant amount of stool in rectum before trying . I am sure the straining is not good but I worry that the rectum should always be empty and feel the need to try and push it out
I am sure such a small amount is difficult for the GI muscles to push it along especially as it is so soft
I do typically have a large bowel movement but with very erratic timing. I was so used to a regular daily BM at the same time but now it is all in chaos until a couple of years ago, I am finding it hard to adjust to this new norm.
My DR thinks I have CPPS and pelvic tension due to pain but finding someone to help with this is in UK is very difficult.
I eat a lot of fibre and drink 2litres per day plus take laxido I did just cut this down to 2sachet from 2 as I thought it was making the stool so sticky It is driving me crazy with worry as I have been impacted in the past and do not want that to happen again
Anyone had the experience or can advise
