Hi fellow. Travellers in the IBS world
Has anybody tried the above as a food supplement?or been recommended?
It hasn’t been researched much in humans as I understand it , so not sure it wouldn’t have a negative effect on IBS. 🙄

Hi - I've been taking a mix of mushroom supplements for a while - including lions mane. I don't take them specifically for IBS - BUT they seem to have really helped! No bad side effects. The only one I had slight trouble with was chaga - which I stopped, due to it's high oxalate content.
What exactly did they help with if you don’t mind me asking? Thanks!!
I can't prove cause and effect - but in the last year of taking them I noticed I was tolerating certain foods better - had healthier, regular bowel movements and miraculously my thyroid levels normalised for the first time in 12 years. This could be down to another reason - but I can't think of anything else I've specifically changed in that time.
