can I ask if anyone else feels after they go to the bathroom lime they have been given poison? Lower intestine ache, nausea, throw up, my head gets affected for some reason and I cannot function, in bed sometimes for hours with a heating pad on my gut. When the ache su sides, all other symtoms clear. Its It's like living I hell every morning , ccant make appointments till 11pm and sometimes the whole days shot.

I have to lay down after bowel movement. Even when it's normal and easy. I'm knocked out for 10 minutes to an hour. It has been suggested that bm upsets the vegus nerve. I too never make appointments till 11am or better still the afternoon. Sometimes like you I will feel awful all day. Wish I could advise you, but haven't found anything to help. This is a symptom of fibromyalgia.

Have you been diagnosed with IBS by a doctor?

Vomiting isn't a usual sign of IBS.

I have bad pain on the left hand side most mornings, and until i go to the toilet cannot risk going out anywhere. Then when i do go i have to cope with more pain until it subsides. I never know whether eating any breakfast helps or makes it worse. Also have a headache also. Like you dont get out before 11 or 11.30.
