Sciebtific food analysis

Has anyone had an analysis in line with this service and it's claims (see below). I have long suffered with stomach problems including cramps, bloating and anxiety. I have tried going gluten-free, lactose- free and avoiding highly processed foods. I'm finding it so difficult to stick to such a regime and as I've yet to resolve my symptoms, I am seriously thinking of paying for such analysis. It seems to me that without such an analysis we are largely feeling our way in the dark.

How do the foods you eat affect your body?To help you thrive and reach your health goals, ************* (the name of the service provider) first tests your body's response to food and then gives you an action plan tailored to you, with recipes, instant feedback on your food choices and coaching from our nutrition team.

Hi, I must have spent a lot of money over the years having various tests like this and all to no avail in the end.Sometimes food effects me and sometimes it doesn't. I never know .

Thank you for taking the trouble to reply. I guess we're all looking for a potential magic wand, a beacon of hope, to horribly mix metaphors

If this relates to food intolerance testing, this has no scientific basis. Official advice here:

In terms of tackling IBS, you might want to review the diagram lower down on this page and also this website in general:

I suspect this is another money spinning company who play on the psychological effect of believing that something will make you better.

My feeling is that food intolerances fluctuate in tandem with gut inflammation, so my question would be why is the gut inflamed and reacting to particular foods in the first instance....otherwise it can lead down a slippery slope towards ever more restrictive eating.

To be honest I find the whole thing a mystery. But one thing is certain that food tests are not scientifically proven so it's no point in spending your money.
