I previously only gave this a few days after it made my IBS-D worse, I thought I would give it another go as I am having particularly bad symptoms at the moment.
After a week of taking I am having bad stomach cramps and diarrhea after every evening meal.
With Christmas approaching I don't think i can put up with a month of so-called bedding in and think I am going to stop taking it again.
Anyone else have a bad reaction to it? Did it take several weeks to adapt for other people?

Yes it takes a few weeks f altered bowels probably wrong time of year to start I then took it for a few years with good results then came off it as felt it was being inefficient
No it's only when you start it and it's altering the gut microbes funny enough I just started back on it but decided not the right time near Christmas as my ibs has been playing up stomach ache was thinking of trying slippery elm maybe new year. I have to be careful what I take has have rheumatoid arthritis which I take medication for too
I went the opposite way but it did resolve after a few weeks.
I am a regular Alflorex user but I do take breaks from it with other probiotics from time to time and I’m currently taking the Optibac Women one which has been very good. Took it following an episode of Thrush as a boost but it has worked a treat on my IBS.
Only taking a short course and then back to Alflorex.
Thing is I can take mild constipation as a side effect if it’s short term , not sure I could persist if it was diarrhoea.
