Hi everyone, I’m looking for some help or advice please as this is all so new to me, I’ll try and cut it short basically I’ve been diagnosed with endometriosis but most of my issues seem to be bowel related. I get cramps daily and feel the need to go for a number 2 more frequent that I used to. I’m constantly burping even if I’ve not ate or drank anything, and nighttime is especially uncomfortable if I lay flat on my side my stomach hurts and I get indigestion so when I lay on my back for a few hours then turn over the noises from my stomach are unreal I’ve never had this before and I can’t help but think this can’t all be down to endometriosis like my gp keeps saying. Bowel movements are also random one moment loose the next struggling to go. Just to add I ended up on a&e at the wkend with pains and they said I also had a kidney infection l. Any help would be appreciated at this point as I feel so lost, thank you for taking the time to read.

Could be stomach / bowel related. But since we're not the specialist medical doctors I would ask for a referral to a gastroenterologist.

This could be diverticulosis, which I have & it can be painful with lots of wind. Obviously this would need to be diagnosed by colonoscopy, but it is a very common condition. Bowel movements are very random from one day to the next. But of course IBS have these same symptoms too

thank you for your replies I’ve just done one of those boots self test bowel kits and it’s come back all fine so maybe it is all down to the Endo and I’m just struggling to believe it could cause all this, x

endo can cause adhesions on bowel, go see a gynae
