I've heard about FeroCalm wish it was here in the US. Like you I have diverticular disease. Please keep us posted on how it's working for you and how we can get it here in the USA. God bless and get better.
Hi, just ordered my 8wk trial over the weekend. Like yourself willing to give anything a try after 22yrs. Let's hope we can get some relief, fingers crossed. I am interested to know how you get on.Take care Pollyboo
I tried it but it didnt work for me. Im on constella / linaclotide and that seems to help.
hi is this for ibsc
I tried Ferocalm for the two month trial and now ordered a further two months.I`ve found it really worked with my IBS-D . Enterosgel also worked for me but three times a day is not convenient wheras Ferrocalm is only one pill a day
Hello, glad to hear you are trying it. It’s a very novel approach to treating dysbiosis of the gut microbiome, the cause of symptoms in some IBS sufferers. You should take it for the 8 week trial period, and longer if you experience any adjustment symptoms, a sign that your system is responding to the probiotic.
I have been taking it for almost 5 months, and am still experiencing side-effects which I’m sure are related to Ferrocalm.
You might consider purchasing from Amazon, a very useful book by Professor John Hunter entitled, Irritable bowel solutions. It gives a detailed approach to various types of IBS. He and his team developed Juvia, which can be of use in some types of IBS.
Good luck
For ibs: Low fodmap diet, finding trigger foods. Dr Gut is quite good (simethicone & mineral clay) for gas symptoms, Good probiotics - i like vivomixx and alflorex. Cut out processed food, only eat natural foods. Gives me some symptom relief. I rarely have stomach pain now. Still have gas sometimes but only when i cheat on diet. Bowels never normal though! Went from D to C! Now i have to take magnesium just to go! Stupid bowels. Never happy I think if i succeeded in cutting out processed food instead of succumbing to snacks sometimes , id be a lot better tho!
