hi

So I saw a different doctor today and he really listened to me. After examining me he says I have a slight prolapse of my pelvic floor but its very mild and nothing to do with my bowel problems. He has given me mebeverine just wondering will this help my urgency and incomplete evacuation? Thank you.

I was taking Mebeverine about 15 years ago, and it did nothing for me, made me worse in fact. I've gone it alone ever since.

Mebeverine is an anti spasmodic so its good for cramping and pain. I have been taking it for 4 years and it has helped my IBS.

Thanks for your reply I’ve only been taking it a few days so no change yet. I was hoping it would firm up my stools and stop me rushing for the loo. My doctor gave me the fodmap diet too so need to see him again in 4 weeks I will see how things go. Thanks.
