Amitriptyline and rash

I take 10mg of amatripyline for IBS, I have got up this morning with a rash on my neck, not itchy and I feel fine, just wondering if it could be a side effect.

Hi, amatripyline as far as I'm aware doesn't give you any rashes. My advice is to think if you have washed in something new or changed your washing powder for the clothes. But I don't think amatripyline gives you a rash. Kind regards G

Have a word with your GP about this. You could also read the information leaflet about side effects.
