Does a fit test measure the blood in your stools. I remember having a stool test a few years ago and it was 113. Had a colonoscopy and all was well. Now definitely blood in my stools. I hope I don't have to go through that again.

A FIT test will just say if you have blood in your stools. Ideally, you need a calprotectin test too as this will also measure if you have infection. A calprotectin of around 50 is considered fine. Above is elevated and unfortunately for some it can come back in the thousands. Speak to your GP - you may need another colonoscopy.
