Help please

Hi All , I've not been on here for a while and thought I was doing OK, but recently I get an empty feeling in my tummy , after I've eaten , and what feels like bubbles bursting ,I know it sounds weird ,it feels it too it also sometimes makes me feel lightheaded , I don't know what to think ant advice please .

Sounds like you have too much as in your colon - certainly the bubbles bursting feeling would account for that. Sometimes IBS does make us feel hungry even after we have eaten. You may be better off eating more smaller meals throughout the day instead of larger meals being spaced apart. You could also try settling the 'bubble' feeling with peppermint capsules or peppermint tea or actually just go and ask a pharmacist. I think they are often more knowledgeable about otc treatments than GP's are. I hope it all settles for you..

Thanks for your reply ,I've started taking ,peppermint before food , it seems to helping .hope alls well with you

I find the peppermint does help do glad that you find it useful too. I am fine at the moment, thank you; I have both IBS and IBD so I get regular checkups from my gastro team at the hospital I am under.
