Struggling with abdominal cramps and bloating in the evenings and mornings

I'm recently diagnosed in September. I'm taking 200mg twice daily of mebeverine which helps with going to the toilet daily but I'm finding that I'm getting bad abdominal cramping and bloating in the evenings and the morning which then settles during the day, only to flare up again later on. Does anyone else have this issue or any advice to help me stop this cycle.

strange that mebeverine should help you go more regular ? I was given them more to treat the cramps don't work for me anyway

I didn't get any help with mebeverine but I get horrific mornings with excruciating wind and discomfort that can take up to 3 hours to clear, sometimes facing and taking out the whole day. Usually I can get comfortable enough in the evening to be able to sleep but it's a relentless cycle for months. I'm baffled where all the wind comes from and found no way to fix it.

I feel your frustration and your agony. I am pretty similar to yourself.Currently on molvivol but still getting awful cramps, pain, bloating.

Going through menopause too.

Just ordered 3 months supply of alflorex. It's expensive but got it 3 for 2.

Find not many foods are safe for me.

Going for a colonoscopy to see if they found anything.

I wish there was a cure for us
