Odd pressure pain when sitting down or laying down on back!.

Can anyone else identity with this odd pain and discomfort.. its low down in belly all over like a heavy pressure feeling near to the surface. but no pain when I press in any part of the gut. Despite CT scans and colonoscopy/gastroscopy no explanation apart from some diverticulitis. Weight has fluctuated enormously and ive had unexplained iron deficiency for maybe 10 Years. This pain started just Weeks after the first c vax in May 2021 so it concerns me that something in the immune system maybe be wrong. Hope you understand!.

I am not sure if this will help you but as I learn more about IBS, I suspect that if you have had something to eat that your digestive system didn't like and you then had an irritable bowl and perhaps an unsettled stomach, that it then become inflamed which then puts pressure on your spine in the lower back and lower belly which in turn could have caused some discomfort and pain.

When you had your CT scans, perhaps because you weren't experiencing any kind of irritation at the time and therefore it didn't show on the scan and no explanation could be given. Also I am not sure if it is possible to tell from an Xray if the gut/stomach/intestines etc. if they inflamed or not!

I experience a lot of lower back pain which is caused by the inflammation of the lower intestines amongst other things.

Thanks for your reply. I did also have an MRI of the spine because the gastroenterologist was kind of out of ideas. A thoracic cyst was found in spine so i need to see a neurologist next Month. Not sure how this effects gut and pain at the front of abdoman. Thanks and best wishes.
