how long will dry mouth last after mebeverine?

I have awful dry mouth. It has been going for weeks now. I stopped taking my mebeverine today. How long until the dry mouth goes away?

How many were you taking per day? What was the strength of the pills? I haven’t noticed dry mouth when I’ve taken it but I did with buscopan so I don’t take that. Sorry I can’t help more but I think it is a side effect some people experience that doesn’t go away maybe you could try a lower dose. I’ve only taken it before dinner or in the night if cramps are too bad x

Hi, It takes a while, drink plenty of water or any drinks you can tolerate. I don't take mebeverine it gives me constipation.

Thanks. I haven’t taken any for a couple of days and the dry mouth is gradually getting better. Just got a mouth full of ulcers now from my mouth being so dry 🙈
