Well for the last few weeks I have been suffering with this constant gnawing scratching srcaping pinching feeling in and up my bum forever farting and having to make these mad dashes to the toilet just in case I get this nasty stuff ( watery poop that can be lumpy ) I am SORRY for being far to graphic on that subject and have to sit on the toilet for a good 5/10 minutes at a time trying to go and in constant fear of doing it in my pants and never knowing if I am coming or going with it at all and I just find it all so exhausting all the time

Well I am sorry for going on when I know that everyone on this forum has their own IBS problems to all please take care

You have posted a lot of questions recently so I can tell you are very worried have you spoken to your gp? Do you have a gastro? If not you need to get the gp to refer you as it needs investigation. I hope they can help you. Take care

I would like to thank you for responding to me and I am sorry for asking loads of questions but I just didn't know where to turn for some help for my problems but I am still not sure what I am doing with this with IBS/Divert Disease as just when I think things has settled down well as good as it gets the DARN stuff starts all over again and trying to get a GP appointment that can be mission impossible as I do try!!! Once again thank you and take care!!!

Do you have a gastro consultant? The one that diagnosed you? You could contact their secretary let them know your suffering and see if you can get an appointment with them sooner as they can’t of signed you if a diverticulitis needs to be monitored.

Yes I agree on the gp appointments it’s very difficult but they usually have some urgent on the day ones and your case sounds like it’s been getting really bad wn you need to talk to someone medical on here we can only offer advice but it sounds like you need some investigations and treatment. No need to thank me I’m always here and happy to help if I can

I had 2 colonoscopies in early 2021 about 2/3 weeks apart 6/7 polyps removed 1st time about 3/4 more the 2nd time and without being 2 graphic I had blood in my poop the same happened around last Xmas then back and fourth 2 the Doc's again early this year had a colon scan and that was OK I just don't know what else to do as I was told after 2nd colon thing that I was under surveyliance ( sorry about my spellings ) or radar and I keep a food diary as best as I can so I will try the Doc's again Well once again I don't mean to be a pest and thank you very much for your help as I know you got problems of your own to be dealing with and I don't want to add anymore on your shoulders take care please

That doesn’t sound like good surveillance if the gastro hasn’t seen you since last Xmas and you have built up more problems. Do see if you can go back to the gastro as the gp is not very useful I had to go through a lot of gastros to get to the right one. Luckily I have insurance so I went private after bad nhs treatment. The gastro or gp can refer you to a dietitian who could also help you but it sounds like you need a gastro to help not just monitor a situation as you are clearly getting worse. If you can get to the gp explain how bad things are and ask them to contact your gastro if you can’t yourself as that’s the only way you will get help.

Don’t worry we are all here to support each other regardless of our own problems if I can help I will always try xx
