Few days ago after suspecting having a impacted bowel went to A&E and CT scan confirmed this. Advised a regime of 6 Laxido per day for 2 days. then 3 a day for two days then back to my normal management.
I have followed this and been to the toilet loads ( and I mean loads! ) however today I still feel there is something there I cannot pass . Should I take more Laxido ?

I'm no medic, but have diverticulosis and take Laxido every day to help things along. Do you eat high fibre foods? Or maybe the question should be what have you eaten? If your diet usually has little fibre, then as your body continues to remove water from the gut the end result is going to be hard. The Laxido is gentle, so it won't hurt to continue one a day until you feel back to whatever is normal for you. If your diet frequently lacks fibre, then taking the Laxido every day AND upping fluid levels as well, should help you get back on an even keel. A good probiotic will help too, you do need good levels of beneficial bacteria in your gut to digest your food adequately. I know 'they' say about 6-8 glasses of water a day, but that is the best way forward, keep hydrated, then if you do lack fibre the problem you visited A&E with should be a distant memory!
Sometimes after a vigorous bowl movement workout, your rectum will feel like there's something there but it's a false alarm.
