Does IBS cause anal symptoms?

Has IBS caused anal symptoms for you? Like prickling sensation or

Tightness spasms?

Or when you're stressed?

Random feeling of tightness or uncomfortable sensation DAILY.

Can anyone tell me if this happens to them?

I suffer with IBS, internal haemorrhoids and recurring fistula. Pretty sure stress is the root cause for the IBS.

I have experienced all and more. Unfortunately anything is possible with Ibs, but tell your gp to be sure nothing is going amis. These symptoms maybe of concern dependent on your type or the types of Ibs you have. Tummy pains, especially down the left side of your naval needs reporting to your gp too. What does pain on left side of navel usually indicate?

It usually indicates Diverticulitis. Gp ignored it and said it was part of Ibs. Over a year later I was referred to the pain clinic who immediately said I had it. 6 months later I had a massive flare of it. Had 2 kids and never known pain like it. It's an issue with your spleen. At stage 3 it's removed then a concoction of vitamins, etc for life. Stay well and aware 😍
