It's not available if you're outside the UK. Are there any important points to share? Thanks!
One of the regular doctors on the show paid for 6 different food intolerance tests which basically contradicted each other. He came to the conclusion that not only were they a waste of money but could be dangerous for anyone following these results, cutting foods out unnecessarily which might lead to malnutrition & vitamin deficiency.
Thanks a million. I had a feeling they were dodgy!
I've had 2 tests done myself. The 1st cost about £140 & flagged up as the worst food intolerance was to EELS. I've never eaten eels in my life but did wonder if food manufacturers use these in some foods i.e fish cakes/fingers/pies. The 2nd test (a sample of your hair) was about £30 & flagged up dairy which is correct & anything containing coconut & chick peas. I can't remember the last time I had either of these. I'm seeing a dietitian next week & hoping he may be able to pinpoint something in my diet that is causing my problem. I can but hope.
You are right. Food intolerance tests are pointless and have no scientific basis. Official advice from the British Dietetic Association here:
