I recently paid for a York intolerance test. It actually come back with some food and drink groups on there. I am completely cutting these out to see how that goes. This is just a suggestion for anyone maybe struggling maybe try this route?

Hi. I was looking to get this too. Where did you get it from? Do you live in the UK?

Hi yes I’m from uk. It is expensive but I got some money off in January sale. If you have tried everything I would say deffo give this a go. I got 4 foods back to stay away from. I wish I had done this sooner.

Hi, I too had the York test done. It came back with all dairy, yeast, duck and buckwheat. I knew about the dairy but not the others. Well worth the money. You can find YorkTest on the internet. It's done through the post. Simple pin prick blood test.

Please do not waste your money on these tests. They are not scientifically proven. You may hit on some real intolerances by coincidence or you could end up eliminating foods unnecessarily. The only real way to find out is to carry out a fodmap elimination and reintroduction diet via a dietitian referral from your GP. There is no short cut for this. Please read this:

Xjrs, I suspected this. You are right. It would be too easy and straightforward for the test to be that accurate, our bodies are such complicated entities, each reacts in a different way.
