Any one on colesevelam and buscapan does the buscapan work i have ibs and bam sick of the stomach pains everyday before and after opening my bowels , and another thing i am frm uk and going to spain for a well deserved holiday next sunday for 2 weeks getting anxious incase the difference off foods makes my stomach worse its an all inclusive hotel we staying at any advice please

Hi...Buscopan works for me if I get lower abdomen aches/niggly pains. My last all inclusive holiday in Spain I ate bland ie. Plain chicken, chips or potatoes and white bread. Their plain cakes were ok for me as well...I avoided cream/chocolate type cakes. Boring I know but it worked for me. Enjoy your hols

Ps...I can eat carrots and green beans without any problems

I take Loperamide, prescribed by my doctor, normally one every other day but sometimes daily if I'm suffering (maximum dose is 8 per day, I dread to think what would happen if I took that many). This has transformed my life as IBS has become an occasional, rather than daily, issue for me.
