Morning does anyone take lactulose daily. I'm taking 10ml twice a day which I find really helps bowel movement.

I used to take lactulose and it worked for a while, if I take it now it just gives me violent cramps

I also used to take lactulose but after a while it was upsetting me. I find regar fybogel helps me. Down to half a sachet a day after main meal now. Not a cure but it helps.C

If the tolerance fails, I will certainly g try fibogel or anything to maintain bm's. Thankyou

fybogel is no good if you have a slow colon transit as it needs water to bulk it out. Slow transit causes more fluid to be reabsorbed so fybogel makes constipation worse

I take Lactulose daily and have done since last January. The meds I am on cause constipation and I have had no trouble at all.

That's great, I'm really hoping and praying it keeps working for me. I do have more 'wind' but can cope with that. Thankyou

hey, have you tried having two kiwis? If you want a non-pharmaceutical approach. I also find blending frozen kiwis with an avocado makes an interesting smoothie and the fat from the avocado means it doesn’t digest too quickly.
