Hi everyone,Does anyone know a quick fix for a sudden unexplained flared-up? My tum has bloated hugely and I'm full of wind, both ends! It's very uncomfortable and embarrassing. Would really appreciate any advice..thank you..😕

Unfortunately unless you are very lucky! There just isn’t a ‘quick fix’ for IBS & bloating.

Over the counter medicines may help you, or seeing a GP and trying a course of antispasmodic may help to reduce the occasions of flare ups.

Also consider diet: are there foods your eating that cause the onset?

I don’t suffer with IBS but do suffer with stomach problems and wind. If I have a flare up porridge is my answer and chamomile tea.

Hi, sorry to hear you're suffering. I find buscopan does help more than anything with the wind issues, not a cure all but does help me with bloating & wind relatively quickly. Good luck 😊
