IBS or a virus??

I have a weird thing going on. After a couple of brilliant weeks I was poleaxed last night by severe cramps and several trips to the toilet. One of which was diarrhea (but not gallons - sorry tmi).

I spent a sleepless night with constant mild cramps, feeling the need to go all the time but nothing to do. It made me feel sick - but that's also not unusual when I have a bad flare up.

This morning I went twice fairly normally (lots of small pieces which happens to me during a flare up anyway) but not the runs.

Since then I feel horrible - bloated, sore, keep feeling I need to go, but just spray bits sometimes and nothing else. I daren't eat anything.

The odd times I've had a stomach bug it's severe cramps, diarrhea and then feeling a bit better until the next lot of cramps and then next bout of the runs.

This isn't like that so I don't know what to think. Any suggestions?

Hey there. Do you travel a lot and drink water from different places. If so it might be a bug. Just ask yourself this question. Does a person without ibs experience it? If so go get treated in the hospital. Or else I would recommend windex for bloating it help me all the time
