sickness and diahorria

morning All

About every 6 weeks to two mths ( sometimes more ) I get d&v , no rhyme or reason to it. I never seem to get one without the other at the same time ? I can also be sat there in bathroom with eyes falling asleep ?? That’s what worries me about being out and it happening as it’s never just one ( though do get diahorria without sickness i between these episodes but can’t seem to vomit without both 😞 . Anyone else? As far as I know ibs and diverticulitis, I stay gf and df for 4 years now which I think makes me 70% improved maybe more . Id like to reintroduce either or , to see as such a pain for food

Wouldn’t know where to start though and terrified ! I’d happily never eat again if it made stomach behave ! Thanks for reading

Have you been tested for any infection like Giardia or C Diff.? Or something else... You could ask the doctor to check for any gut infection maybe. This is so miserable for you. I hope it eventually goes away.

Vomiting is not a normal sign of IBS. Best to get your GP to investigate further and whatever the diagnosis, help you to manage it. You can't be left like this.

Your GP should still be helping you to manage your symptoms. What did they say was the reason for your vomiting since this isn't normal for IBS?

not been back it was 4 yrs ago the tests , I’m never going through all those again

If it makes you feel any better, I used to be sick with mine years ago. I don't seem to do that now, but it just seems that one set of symptoms gives way to another!
