I get diarrhoea with my IBS. Sometimes it’s manageable and other times it feels like it’s a lot and what foods trigger it are hard to pinpoint. Do other people use rehydration sachets afterwards? Sometimes that might be a couple of times a day and could then be several times a week like that. Does anyone have any other natural solutions?
Thanks.

I think you will definitely need to top up fluids and electrolytes with IBS -D. But be careful about what is in those rehydration sachets, or drinks, powders etc. There is very likely to be something like sorbitol as everyone is sugar phobic nowadays (sugar suits me fine, but Sorbitol is a laxative!!) Other additives may not suit you either. Take a look at ingredients.
Or you could buy pure powders of the essential electrolyte minerals and make your own. That would be the cheapest way too.
Be careful also with Magnesium. That is essential, but depending on dose, can give you the trots. The best Magnesium for not doing that as far as I've found, is Magnesium Glycinate.
If you make your own you'll need Potassium, Salt (Himalayan pink is great, or Celtic sea salt), Magnesium, Chloride, Calcium, Phosphate and Bicarbonate. It might cost a bit to buy at first but it will last a long time if you get the pure powders if you can
