I know that many herbal medicines can heal gastritis. I don't know if you'd be interested in that approach? Many doctors don't know a lot about herbal medicine but obviously you'd need to get your doctor on board if you decided to try it.

It would be best to go to a qualified herbal medicine practitioner.

(I really mean the Western Herbal Tradition rather than Chinese medicine. I don't know much about Chinese medicine.)

Herbs are powerful medicines and some would react with any meds you are prescribed, and some might not be wise for you if you have other conditions, so it's best to get the doctor plus herbal practitioner 'on the same page' with your medical history and current treatments etc.

Hi, Sorry I don't have an answer, currently experiencing a lot of nausea myself. Have you tried ginger or peppermint? Both are supposed to help.

Hi cant really advise you. But I was diagnosed November 21 with chronic Gastritis and acid Reflux. Put on 40g Lansoprazole they helped for a few months. But the pain in my stomach is just as bad now 😩 and i am constantlybloated. Feel like it's never going to get any better. . Hope you find some help. I am thinking of going back to my GP Xx

Ask GP for anti sickness meds too. I'm on cyclizine for nausea on top of the other meds. It does help a lot for me
