Hi Hillrose yes I experience a bad flare after I had covid 19. I think all the stress and been ill didn't help my IBS and brought it on worse. But if it doesn't improve make an appointment to get checked with ur GP. Hope you feel better soon

Yes. Ever since I had Covid, every sensitivity I had is magnified. I almost can’t make it to the bathroom!

According to the nurse who spoke with me when I had it, covid is known to agrivate conditions like IBS. The current variant also causes stomach upsets apparently. I certainly had a nasty flare up when I had it in December. Hope you feel better soon.

Yes my second jab made my IBS and diverticulitis horrible and it lasted for weeks and weeks, I have had IBS over 30 years and this was the worst it ever been

So my IBS flared after my second dose of COVID vaccine it was bad!! Like 4 to 5 weeks. And now I got COVID! I’m on day 5 of my illness. I’m recovering and feel great. And yes, my stomach was uncomfortable, however it was all the meds I was taking . Just drink plenty of fluids and I agree if the symptoms are not letting up see a specialist .

Yup . I had it before you could be tested! And my IBSc has been in flare ever since . Don't think the jabs helped either ? I've been to my Drs. Had two colonoscopy examinations. But still say it's IBS. And it's awful . I feel for you I really do Xxxxx

A big thank you to all of you. Sorry you have or are still suffering. I am just on water but pain etc doesn't appear to be easing very much and to try to eat something bland is well you all know what it can be like. I have had a colonscopy a couple of years ago which showed spontaneous IBS and multiple diverticula. Again many thanks forvyour

Did the vaccines make any difference in your IBS?

No the vaccines made no difference, I had covid quite a while before I had this rotten IBS

Yep it affected my gut along with other things. Still have chronic nasal congestion over a year later. I think it probably affects multiple organs imo.
