Upper abdominal tightness

I have IBS d, I suffer with extreme bloating every day which is so uncomfortable.

Every now and then, I get what feels like tightness in my upper abdomen. It feels like my insides are swollen and its so tight, I cant get a good breath.

Can anyone else relate to this?

Hello I hate that! Have you tried any tablets I used so many I’m now on Amitriptyline I would mention it to your doctor take it of a night also for the cramps and bloating Use Senocalm IBS relief you should notice a difference

Hi, thanks for your reply. I wasn't sure if the tightness was normal as I normally have bloating but not the upper bloating and swelling.

I take Mebeverine before meal and I was actually put on Amitriptyline last week for migraines but they made me feel awful so I stopped them.

I will have a look at the Senocalm, thank you 😊

Hi I also suffer with that I feel bloated and look pregnant all the time. My stomach feels like it's going to pop at anytime I have been put on medication for bile acid famotidine and colestyramine light which is helping with the IBS D and the bloating I also take Lansoprazole and Rene's for the bloating and acid reflux which helps aswell it's horrible when u feel the tightness in ur stomach all the time hope u find something to relieve it have u seen ur GP if not I would recommend seeing them to see if there is anything they can give u to help you good luck
