Hey all so recently I’ve been under ALOT of stress as I had a prgancny scare and I think and hope I’m not pregnant.
However recently every time I eat and mainly in the morning and night I have very loud abdominal noises and feel like my stomachs bubbling. In the morning I feel nausea and have diarrhoea. I’ve also been experiencing headaches and my stomach hurts but mainly in the morning.
What could this be? Prgancy? Stress? IBS??

Well first and most obvious thing is to take a pregnancy test. I hope you’ve done this already? Absolutely could be stress/ibs as these 2 come hand in hand and really mess up your digestive system. We all produce cortisol when we are stressed and us anxious/stressed people can over produce it which is what causes the classic “nervous tummy” : nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, pain and all of this then leads to noise as our tummy’s are churning with all this extra cortisol! I suggest firstly and most importantly do a pregnancy test to rule that out, then help your stressed tum with hot water bottles, very simple food (but not pasta), peppermint tea, antacids, hot water with lemon is good! And comfy clothes and rest! Other possible reason is tummy bug?
Thanks! It’s highly unlike I’m pregnant (I’m a huge stress head with lots of anxiety so I think I’ve just worked myself up a bit) but I went back to school and a friend of mine has had a tummy bug we’re she had diarrhoea could this be involved?
If you don’t mind me asking, how old are you? From reading your previous posts and reply’s this is really not the right place for you to get the answers you want. This forum is for people needing support when suffering with IBS, which is not linked to pregnancy. I understand you’re scared but we can’t give you the answers! You NEED to go to a sexual health clinic and ask for some support/advice from doctors or parents. If you are too afraid to go to a sexual health clinic/use a pregnancy test you really should not be having sex, or anything similar to sex. Please please please search for advice from a doctor or person face to face, and please do not use google!!! Good luck
If you have ruled out pregnancy for sure then stress can affect the tummy in the ways you suggest in your question. I have IBS symptoms but have been diagnosed with a different condition so I would suggest that you go and visit your GP and seek out some answers. It's better to be given the correct information and diagnosis as soon as possible.
If it helps, write a list of your symptoms, how long you've been experiencing them and your GP will take it from there.
