I've been having belly problems for many years, in 2020 I was diagnosed with Ibs I been on medication ever since. Nothing changed in fact it's getting worse I got an appointment today at special clinic, I don't know why or what for. I'm worried this is C. Hoping special clinic will do camera, but I doubt it. How do I get an appointment to have camera... my doctors always so busy... I feel so depressed everything I eat hurts my belly, I've also been diagnosed with binge eating disorder. Bloated, feelings sick. I got this constant pain on my left side. I definitely think something wrong in my belly. :(

Does a CT SCAN help detect problems in my belly??

community colorectal = my appointment with these

My advice is stay off google if you are worried about your health as it makes you fear the worst.

Have you considered checking for parasites? Also, consider going on the GAPS protocol.

Yes a CT scan will show up problems also a MRI push for tests it’s better to ease your mind it’s probably nothing serious there’s so many different problems with the stomach hope you get sorted soon

I understand why you are feeling this way. I felt so let down by my gp during lockdown when he suggested if I had any money I should go privately. So that is what I did just for an initial consultation but I soon got seen after that on nhs for a ct scan and endoscope. The ct scan identified diverticula.

Join the club. Apart from IBS I was diagnosed with diverticular in 2016. It only gave me a problem 10 wweks when I had a Bleed. Informed a blood vessel can break with divertic. Only lasted one day, spent night in hospital. Discharged next day, dcs said my bloods were good, nothing really to see apart from damn wind. Had a ct colonoscopy two weeks later, with dreaded grafin prep, just informed that I had divertic. No perforation or other nasties but a small thickening near it. The actual letter to go to doctor, noticed cancer was very unlikely, but hasn't really pressed me to go for any other tests. But still I suffer with wind, nights of wanting to go loo, but nothing happens, until morning. Really gets you down. You have my sympathy🙄

You have had this problem for many years. A doc once said to me. if it was cancer it would have spread everywhere by now, and you would probably be dead!!!.
