Can anyone give me some advice to manage the pains and the severity of my Endo and IBS, I’ve had Endo for almost 9 years I’m only 21 and yet I’m struggling to maintain the IBS side of things and it can get to the point where the toilet becomes my best friend 4/5 times a day alongside URGENCY… help… :(

Endometriosis can be helped with a yoga small ball look up you tube for the video..its when your insides fuse together .. lying face down with ball at your pelvis area and move around so it releases whatever has attached to other areas..also massage strongly your lower abdomin...for IBS take folic acid tablets every day and drink lots water ... helped me !

My cousin suffered since she was a teenager for years with the same thing. When she had difficulty conceiveing in her late twentys, she had scans which showed numerous endo adhesions on her bowels and colon. She had laser treatment to remove the adhesions, and some hormone treatment. She went on to have 2 children, and now has the mirina coil to keep her hormones stable.

IBS and diet. I have a list of things that I cant touch. Rice. Peppers. Onions. Avocado (terrible pain if I eat one). You really need to go through your diet and work out what is causing the pain. Both daughters had Endometriosis but I can give no ideas at all.

Hi, I am assuming you are IBS(Diarrhoea), if you are going 4/5 times a day but I guess you could also go 4/5 times with constipation! Most people recommend the FODMAP diet for IBS but I just eat what I think, I will be safe with. It's really an individual thing, and you kind of have to work it out for yourself. Having said that after 35 years I still have no idea what I am doing wrong! Somedays I win, some days it wins. I lose more than I win, these days!

Hi! Understand completely what you are going through. What meds are you on now and I will try and help, also is the IBS worse at period time?

Hi there! For Endo I’m just in the yasmin pill and for IBS I don’t have anything specific to take only buscopan and Imodium!

Well I think you must decide what causes you more aggro, the Endo or IBS for me it was the pain and heaviness of the Endo symptoms, that was kept under control by Provera and later Mefenamic Acid, this med was my saviour. Unless treatment has changed you need progesterone to dampen down the bleeding not oestrogen. Later the IBS kicked in as I had Endo scarring on the ascending colon. Now I take Imodium when necessary and Mebeverine to keep the tum calm.
