Ibsd leakage?

I hav ibs d and like others I’ve tried many different things to help,. I’ve stopped taking omeprazole which has helped greatly, but then was left with acid reflux. I’m kinda gettin to grips with what to eat etc to help curb the reflux but if it persists I take a rennie which helps, I also take optibac which I’ve found really helps the ibs d. I still hav bouts and the one thing that I canny seem to figure out or even help with is the leakage after several runs to the toilet. Anybody else have this issue?

It does sometimes happen to me. I just have lots of underwear and change if necessary. You can also get small pads for this purpose. They are just a few inches by a few inches, but cover the spot.

I was going to say the same thing ladies sanitory pads. That what I use. "Always" are quite good. They can be quite thin. My husband does the shopping so he gets them from the supermarket but nobody takes any notice when he goes through the checkout. If you didn't want to stand in the supermarket looking at all the different ones you could go on line and check them out at home before going to the supermarket or you may actually have your groceries delivered so it would not be an issue!

I like the always descreet pads that's used for bladder problems because they also help with odors and you can get long ones but I find the normal ones good saved many a day keep wipes, in my bag

I get pads from nhs but they are awful really broad and thick but if I’m having a bad day and know I’m not going out I do use them and at bedtime for urinary leaks can’t hold my water either so both ends are awful just as well I live alone !,,

Bodyform Ultra long pads work well. I prefer the ones without wings. Also keep a small bag with a spare pad, change of underwear and pack of wipes for emergencies.

Like many have stated I go nowhere without my emerg bag and wearing a ultra thin extra long pad. It seems when I am wearing it and am prepared I rarely need it but when unprepared it is like “oh dear” here we go again.
